Why It Matters
Every breath you share helps a child breathe easier.
~1 million
children under five die from pneumonia every year — the single leading cause of death in this age group, overwhelmingly in low-resource settings.
A global mission
Pneumonia is the single leading cause of death in children under five. Objective breathing assessment can help carers recognise distress earlier — and save lives.
Your video makes it smarter
Every clip helps the AI learn what healthy and distressed breathing look like in real children — making the tool more accurate for families everywhere.
Early, complimentary access
As a thank you, participants receive early and complimentary 1-year access to the finished AI-based tool.
How to Participate
Four simple steps — about two minutes.
Example: lay your child on their back with the chest and tummy visible, hold the phone steady, and film for 20–30 seconds.
01
Record
Film a 20–30 second video of your child breathing, following the simple example above.
02
